Executive Director Full-Time with Benefits. Will plan and coordinate all functions and activities of the area development district. Experience in finance, contracts, grant writing and personnel a plus. Will supervise staff in economic development, GIS, water and wastewater management, Aging, Medicaid, transportation planning, broadband, Revolving Loan Fund and other programs. Will serve as a liaison with local, state and federal government elected officials and their staff. Strong organizational skills, succinct written and oral skills a must. Self-motivator that works well without supervision, is tactful, resourceful, and diplomatic. Frequent public contact. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to travel (including overnight) is required. The job may frequently require more than the standard 37.5 hour work week. Desirable qualifications: Master's Degree in a related field supplemented by three years of directly related work experience, or a bachelor's degree with five years experience, or minimum of ten years documentable experience in economic development, GIS, water and wastewater management, grant administration and staff supervision.
